City Property Glasgow (Investments) LLP (CPGI) is pleased to confirm that 46 Trongate has been let to Principal Apartments, a local family business which offers luxury serviced apartments and lettings across the city.

The property located on the corner of Trongate and Albion Street is now the new office of Principal Apartments which has been offering luxury short and long-term accommodation to both leisure and business guests for 16 years. The business offers over 40 serviced apartments in Glasgow, including the city centre, Merchant City and West End and now offering tenant sourcing and property management for residential landlords.

Commenting on the move, Andy Murray, Managing Director of Principal Apartments said:

“We are delighted to have moved to the bigger, brighter premises within the Merchant City. This is now our third upgrade of premises with City Property, whom we have always found to be more than helpful.
Due to expansion we are now able to offer residential tenancies as well as serviced apartments across Glasgow; we have a huge demand for residential tenancies and are seeking landlords who have flats to offer to enable us to meet the demand”

Richard Watson, CPGI’s Property and Contracts Manager, added:

“We’re delighted to have Principal Apartments take on the lease at 46 Trongate. Not only does this deal improve our property portfolio and occupancy rate, but as an established and successful company, we’re certain that our tenant’s business will continue to grow and make a positive contribution to Glasgow’s economy.

Thank you to our letting agent, Graham & Sibbald for their work on this deal and our best wishes to Andy and the team in their new office”
