21.09.23: REINFORCED AUTOCLAVED AERATED CONCRETE (RACC) - UPDATE FOR TENANTS OF CITY PROPERTY (INVESTMENTS) LLP (CPGI)
We are acutely aware of the recent concerns raised regarding the use of the construction material known as Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC).
We are working closely with colleagues at Glasgow City Council and a process is underway to investigate whether RAAC is present in CPGI’s property portfolio. This is in accordance with current guidance including but not limited to the Institution of Structural Engineers for the investigation and assessment of RAAC.
Searches and investigations are ongoing in line with the guidance and we will keep tenants updated on this webpage as we move through the various stages of the process. Should access be required to any tenant properties to carry out investigations or testing, then we will contact you directly to discuss further and arrange a suitable inspection date/time.

APRIL 2023: CHANGES TO NON-DOMESTIC RATES
As a result of new legislation introduced by the Scottish Government, a number of changes to Non-Domestic Rates will come into effect from 1st April 2023. A list of these changes is provided on Glasgow City Council's website HERE. As the Council is currently implementing these changes, some Rates notices may initially be issued which do not include reliefs which you may be entitled to.
