City Property Glasgow (Operations SL3) LLP and City Property Glasgow (SL Operations 3) LTD

City Property Glasgow (Operations SL3) LLP (SL3) and City Property Glasgow (SL Operations 3) LTD (SL3 Ltd) were incorporated on 26 July 2022 to generate additional further capital of approximately £210m through a private placement agreement to meet GCC’s final equal pay liability. The transaction settled in February 2023.  Assets included in this transaction were:

  • Kelvingrove Art Gallery
  • Kelvin Hall
  • Gallery of Modern Art
  • City Chambers
  • Sighthill Campus
  • Gowanbank Campus

These assets are subject to a lease between SL3 and the Council. Glasgow Life is the sub tenant of the 3 cultural assets, being responsible for the management and operation of these buildings as well as the services provided to users and visitors. Any operational questions or enquiries regarding the day to day running of these facilities should be directed to Glasgow Life. Neighbourhoods Regeneration & Sustainability (NRS) are responsible for the management and operation of the other 3 assets.
